The plate chain conveyor is an important equipment for transporting about 150 degrees of calcined material after the active lime rotary kiln production line cooling machine. After many years of production and operation, it gradually exposed some problems. The equipment is gradually aging, with frequent overhaul, increased workload, and high spare parts consumption. The traction member of the panel chain conveyor, which is a chain, has a chain P of 200 mm, and the chain group between each two bucket buckets consists of two chain links and a pair of link plates. Load-bearing components - shallow trough conveyors and running wheels, the load of the trough is transferred to the track through the wheels. Drive device - motor power 7.5kw, reducer, transmission chain, drive sprocket and other components.
Plate chain conveyor model: BQ850-12I, box width 850mm, head and tail sprocket center distance 12140mm, gauge distance 690mm, chain bucket width 610mm, conveyor size 220×610mm, conveying speed 0.3m/s, conveying The quantity is 25-50t/h, the motor power is 7.5kw and the structure is fully enclosed.
Working principle: The motor drives the head sprocket through the reducer, the sprocket meshes with the rollers on the chain, and the chain runs through the chain. The fixed chain hopper on the chain board achieves the purpose of carrying high-temperature materials.
Common faults in operation are:
(1) The unilateral rolling orbit of the running wheel—the tilt of the driving sprocket shaft is too large, the tension of the two tensioning devices of the tensioning device is not uniform, and the feeding of unilateral materials occurs due to the uneven feeding.
(2) The chain drive is violently vibrated with excessive noise. The side plates of the chain drive are seriously grinded. The sprocket wheel is not coplanar, the sprocket end face is severely swayed, the chain sag is unsuitable, the chain twist is severe, and the lubrication is poor.
The wearing parts include: sleeves, short shafts, long shafts, rollers, card plates, outer chain plates, inner chain plates, bearings, retaining covers, etc. Stocks often have a certain amount to guarantee.
Plate chain conveyors have many problems in overhauling, which are large and complicated, and the material feeding speed is slow. The chain speed V=0.3m/s.
2. Improvement measures
The existing panel chain conveyor was completely removed and replaced with a B=800mm heat-resistant belt conveyor. The belt speed was increased to V=1.0m/s. Head and tail sprocket center distance is 12140mm, electric roller with motor power of 7.5kw is used for the driving wheel, and the material receiving slot is used with a long strip-shaped material receiving slot. The sealing cover is used on the entire length of the belt conveyor and four dust-removing points are set to achieve sealed dust removal. The effect creates a good working environment for the production site.
3. Improved effect
After the improvement, it has been proved in production that the effect is very good, the conveying capacity is improved, the conveying capacity is 35-60t/h, the burning material of about 150 degrees is conveyed, the failure maintenance rate of the equipment is reduced, and the annual production capacity is 185,000 tons.
